MitchCap headed to Appin for a KTM photoshoot, capturing the power, performance and people behind one of Australia’s most exciting off-road brands. With the KTM bikes, riders and team front and centre, the shoot highlighted more than just racing machines: it celebrated a strong partnership that continues to drive success across the Australian powersports industry.
As a proud partner of KTM Australia, MitchCap plays a critical role behind the scenes as the sole financier for KTM’s national distribution network and the floorplan finance provider for KTM dealerships across Australia. This partnership enables KTM dealers nationwide to access the inventory finance they need to stock the latest models, ensuring riders across the country have access to the machines that define KTM’s “Ready to Race” philosophy.
Supporting this partnership from the MitchCap team is Jarryd Murphy, Business Development Manager, who works closely with KTM as part of his dealer portfolio. Jarryd collaborates with KTM dealerships and distribution partners to deliver tailored floorplan and distribution finance solutions that support dealer growth, inventory management and strong retail performance.
Financing Performance Across Australia
KTM is one of the most recognisable and successful off-road motorcycle brands in the world, and Australia is no exception. With a strong dealer network and a passionate rider community, KTM continues to perform strongly across the Australian motorcycle market, particularly within the enduro, motocross and off-road segments.
Through its distribution and floorplan finance solutions, MitchCap supports KTM’s supply chain from importer through to dealership floor. This ensures dealers can confidently stock new KTM models while maintaining strong cash flow and operational flexibility.
By providing tailored finance structures for the powersports industry, MitchCap enables manufacturers like KTM and their dealer networks to scale effectively, support rider demand, and maintain consistent product availability across Australia.
Success on the Track
The strength of the KTM brand is also reflected in its motorsport success. The KTM DM31 Racing Team has started the 2026 Australian Enduro Championship season strongly, securing a double podium finish at the opening round in Roma, Queensland.
Rider Jye Dickson delivered an impressive performance in his first outing with the team, finishing second outright in Pro Enduro and second in the E2 class aboard the KTM 450 XC-F. Teammate and defending E3 champion Korey McMahon also stepped onto the podium, finishing third outright and taking victory in the E3 class on his KTM 500 EXC-F.
The team’s new addition, Jackson Versteegen, is beginning his first season in the professional ranks and continues to build valuable experience throughout the championship.
Following a dominant 2025 campaign that saw the team secure the major AUS Enduro titles, the KTM DM31 Racing Team entered the 2026 season with momentum, talent and the determination to continue building on that success.
Capturing the Partnership
The Appin photoshoot brings together the bikes, the riders and the teams that support them, both on the track and behind the scenes. For MitchCap, it’s an opportunity to showcase the broader powersports industry.
From championship-winning race teams to dealers across the country, the KTM ecosystem is built on performance, reliability and innovation, values that closely align with MitchCap’s commitment to supporting dealers and manufacturers with specialist finance solutions.
